NightDream

NightDream is a desk clock that also functions well during the night. In dock mode, this app provides a simple digital clock that automatically adjusts its brightness. During the day, the display is bright, but at night, it dims to a minimum brightness. You can easily adjust the font size using a two-finger-zoom gesture.

Daydream

This app can be used as a Daydream from Android 4.2 onwards.

Quick alarms

You can set the alarm clock with a swipe from the left and delete it by tapping on the lower right corner.

Battery

While charging your mobile device, NightDream calculates an estimated time until the battery is fully charged.

Notifications

You can enable notifications for missed phone calls, GMail, WhatsApp, and Twitter. For Android 4.3+, go to Settings > Security > Notification access > enable NightDream. For earlier versions of Android, go to Settings > Accessibility > enable NightDream.

In-App Payments

If you wish to see the current weather conditions below the time, you can purchase this feature within the app. Additionally, NightDream is an open-source project, and if you'd like to show support by making a donation, you can do so via in-app purchase.

Permissions

• android.permission.MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS - This permission allows the app to silence the device during night mode.
• android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO - During night mode, the screen may be deactivated, but it can be switched on again if a certain ambient noise level is reached. The app continuously records audio for this purpose, but it does not store audio data.
• android.permission.WAKE_LOCK - NightDream is allowed to wake the device from sleep in order to enable the screen and keep it on.
• android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE - This permission is necessary to read background images from the external storage.

Screen Lock

This app uses the Device Administrator permission solely to lock the screen while the app is running. Before uninstalling NightDream, be sure to revoke this permission.
